Mark has worked in schools for over 25 years and has been in leadership positions for 22 years. He has been a Headteacher for over 11 years (7 years at Finham Park School). National Leader of Education (NLE); has significant Ofsted experience and is a qualified Ofsted Inspector; he has taken different schools from 4 to 3, 3 to 2 and 2 to 1 in Ofsted terms. David is an experienced educator with over 10 years of senior leadership in the UK and abroad. Holding degrees from Oxford and Warwick, along with an NPQH through Teach First, he is passionate about the provision of an excellent education recognising the profound impact that great schools have.
David has held senior roles in a number of settings. As Principal, he led an international school in China for 5 years, followed by 6 years as the academic Vice Principal of Trinity Academy in Doncaster, and 3 years as pastoral Deputy Headteacher at Blue Coat School in Coventry. David’s wide-ranging experiences have equipped him well to lead the prestigious and highly regarded Finham Park School and recognise the importance of strong partnerships within the MAT and wider community.
His leadership focuses on curriculum reform, pastoral care, and school improvement, always with a commitment to character development and broad opportunities for students. David strongly believes in the need to create global citizens, equipped with the character, skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the modern world.
Bernadette joined the Trust in 2017 leading School Improvement. She began her teaching career in 1993 in Primary Education and went on to teach in a range of primary and secondary schools on the South Coast and in the Midlands. She has extensive Senior Leadership experience across primary and secondary, covering all aspects of School Self-Evaluation and School Improvement; school management and governance; inspection readiness; Quality Assurance; School to School Support; Safeguarding; Teaching Schools; policy writing and strategic vision.
As Senior School Improvement Leader for the Trust, Bernadette leads on School Improvement, together with Teaching and Learning (including our 3-year Teaching and Learning Cycle); Continuing Professional Development; and Co-construction across the Trust. Bernadette provides School to School Support, including peer reviews, ‘deep dives’, and more intensive support for school senior teams for schools both in and outside of the Trust.
Passionately committed to ensuring students achieve their full potential and are provided with the skills, opportunities and support to prepare them as ‘World Class’ citizens for the 21st Century, Bernadette enjoys working with schools both within the Trust and beyond.
Sarah is the Headteacher of a Finham Primary School with27 years of teaching experience, and has taught across the entire Primary school spectrum, from Nursery to Year 6.
Sarah graduated with honours from Birmingham University with a Bachelor’s degree focused in Education as an Early Years specialist. From time to time, this does make her smile as she never imagined when she first started teaching, that Early Years would become her home and her passion…
Sarah is driven to make sure that children enjoy their education and receive the support they need to make the most of their time in school. She believes that teaching should leave a memory that lasts forever.
Sarah promotes a holistic approach to education, that nurtures children’s’ unique skills and talents to deliver a bespoke, values led, inclusive education and an excellent start in life.
Leah joined the trust in September 2025 as Headteacher of Lyng Hall School. She began her teaching career in 2006 as a teacher of English and has held a variety of roles in her career: from head of English to head of year, SENDCo to advanced skills teacher. She began her roles within senior leadership in 2013 whilst part of the team opening a new free school, which afforded her the unique opportunity to genuinely mould the shape of an institution. She has a wealth of experience in leading both pastoral and curriculum areas of Secondary schools across Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire and has led training across Counties to develop other teachers and their expertise whilst also committed to developing her own knowledge and skills on a continuing basis.
Leah is excited to be leading the next phase of development at Lyng Hall School, which has been under the strong leadership of previous headteacher, Paul Green, for 22 years. She is passionate about ensuring opportunity and equality for all and as a qualified SENDCo, specialist assessor and senior mental health lead, she has a clear understanding of how support can be adapted successfully to maximise engagement and success for students. Her biggest priority at Lyng Hall School is to ensure that students come to school happily and enjoy their learning whilst there, gaining all of the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their future as ‘World Class’ citizens.
Will has been appointed as the headteacher of Finham Park 2 from June 2023. With a teaching career spanning nearly 30 years, Will brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. Prior to his teaching career, he spent two years in the IT sector after completing his university degree which developed his passion for technology and education.
Whilst initially a Geography teacher, his career has seen him teach many subjects to examination level including Computing, Media Studies, Business Studies and a range of technical qualifications. He has served as a senior school leader since 2004 and has served as a Deputy Headteacher in a good 11-16 school since 2013. He also served as a qualified OfSTED Inspector from 2017 to 2022. His specialist areas are curriculum, personal development, quality assurance, digital learning, school evaluation and improvement.
Passionate about education and committed to the growth of every individual within the school community, Will is a firm believer in high expectations and encouraging all students to reach their full potential. He understands that academic standards and attainment play a pivotal role in transforming the lives and future prospects of young people. He also believes in a holistic education that encompasses personal growth, character development and diverse experiences. Education is not confined to the classroom alone; but thrives on the richness of everyday interactions, enrichment and extra-curricular activities. By promoting a well-rounded education, he hopes to ensure that students at Finham Park 2 have the opportunity to explore their passions, develop essential life skills and become well-rounded individuals prepared for the challenges of the future.
Amie’s career began in Birmingham after she trained as an Early Years Specialist; she then continued to work in inner city Birmingham before moving to Coventry.
Amie worked as a teacher in Early Years for many years before embarking on her leadership journey. She has since taught across all key stages and held positions as Assistant Headteacher, SENDCO and more recently as Deputy Headteacher at Park Hill Primary School in Coventry.
Ahead of gaining her first headship Amie worked for Finham Park MAT education development team as Director of Primary Education; in a role that allowed her to spend time in multiple schools with varying contexts, having an impact on teaching and learning.
Amie is pleased to have gained her first headship with Finham Multi Academy Trust – the vision that every child has ‘the time of their lives’ is in line with her vision for all children, especially those at Lillington Primary.
Early Years, Reading and Personal/Physical Health and Education are areas of the curriculum she is passionate about and she looks forward to embedding the very best curriculum for the children of Lillington – one that both supports their academic success and sets them up with skills needed for life.
Paula is the Headteacher of Limbrick Wood Primary with 23 years of teaching and leadership experience, as a class teacher, Advanced Skills teacher and a Primary strategy consultant.
She strives for excellence in the classrooms enabling her teachers to deliver the best possible curriculum to ensure every child achieves their full potential and more. Paula is also passionate about giving the children at Limbrick Wood a wealth of experiences beyond the classroom to widen their understanding of the wider world.
Fundamentally, when every child leaves at the end of the school day with a smile on their face, having thoroughly enjoyed their day learning new and exciting things, she believes her job is done.
Rachel is responsible for managing the strategy and operations of the non-teaching functions of the Trust including: financial management; health and safety; human resources; estates; IT; compliance and administration. A former pupil of Finham Park School, Rachel joined the Trust in September 2018 as Head of Finance and was promoted to Business Director in September 2019. Rachel has many years of experience in financial roles in the public and private sector including, ten years employed as Finance Director for a successful SME in Coventry. Having three school-age children Rachel appreciates the importance of ensuring that all of the pupils within the Trust receive an outstanding education and that the school estate should be maintained to the highest possible standard.
Joy is the Head of HR at the Multi Academy Trust (MAT), where she leads the people strategy across all schools. Joy joined the MAT in 2025 and with senior HR experience in the private sector, she brings expertise in workforce planning, employee relations, and leadership development.
At the Trust, Joy works closely with senior leaders to shape and deliver workforce strategies that drive growth, strengthen effectiveness, and support the delivery of world-class education. She leads a high-performing HR team, champions diversity and inclusion, and ensures policies and practices not only meet legal standards but also foster a positive and supportive culture.
Passionate about aligning people strategy with organisational goals, Joy is dedicated to building an engaged, resilient, and high-performing workforce that enables both staff and pupils to thrive.
Brian Joined the Multi Academy Finance Team in October 2020. He is an Accomplished and Performance-driven Finance Leader with extensive private and public sector experience in accounting, Finance operations management, and Financial Analysis and Process improvement. He recognised a passion for Finance early in life and decided to pursue accounting technician studies, he is an ACCA Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with HTFT Partnerships, he is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a University of Essex graduate in Business and Management.
Brian is responsible for all financial activities within the MAT and ensures the provision of a cohesive, standardised service that delivers consistently high standards of advice and support to managers and staff within the MAT. He is also responsible for the day-to-day running of the MAT’s finance team, including financial processes, procurement, training and managing the team and responsibility for the budget.
Brian has two young children of school age and fully appreciates the importance of work/life balance and delivery of an excellent education, and fully supports the Trust in achieving its vision of a world-class education for its students. When not crunching the numbers Brian is a keen Bass Guitar player and an u8 Football Coach for a local community club.
David started his career in the education sector fourteen years ago while working for the Coventry City Council at one of our Trust Academies Lyng Hall – and has been in leadership for the last seven years.
David’s most recent leadership experience was working with the Department for Education project team to create designs that will replace two Warwickshire secondary schools as part of the school rebuild programme, setting transformative change to the education estate over the next ten years.
David’s team won the future of property award in 2017 as part of a pilot project to create the one public estate for Hereford and Worcester Chamber of Commerce member – Place Partnership, the first vehicle of its kind to offer schools a range of support.
David is passionate about creating inspirational, safe, compliant spaces for young people to develop, learn, and grow. He is excited to continue his affiliation with schools at Finham Park Multi Academy Trust, and looks forward to building excellent relationships with the many fantastic schools, which will see a real benefit for our local communities.”
Since entering teaching 20 years ago, Liz has held a number of leadership roles at schools in Warwickshire and the West Midlands. She has extensive Senior Leadership experience, including Teaching & Learning, Curriculum, Data, Raising Standards and Exams. Liz joined the Finham Park Multi-Academy Trust in 2017 as a Senior Leader at Finham Park 2 before moving to her Trust role in 2022.
As the Director of Education Development for the Trust’s schools, Liz leads on School Improvement, Teaching and Learning (including our 3-year Responsive Teaching and Instructional Coaching cycle); Continuing Professional Development; Co-construction and Safeguarding. She provides strategic school support, including school and subject QA reviews and working with school leaders.
Liz is passionate about working with colleagues locally, nationally and internationally and has developed subject specific networks as well as leading and delivering CPD within the Trust and for conferences and events outside of it. She is committed to ensuring staff are equipped with the expertise necessary to give FPMAT students the skills, opportunities and support needed to achieve their full potential as ‘World Class’ citizens.
Head of IT Services for a successful Multi-Academy Trust spanning Coventry and Warwickshire, with 24 years of experience working in demanding and dynamic environments. I support over 5,500 students, 780 staff, and public users across the Trust’s network. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, I lead IT Network Managers and teams of dedicated Technicians, playing a pivotal role in supporting multiple education establishments.
I am responsible for driving continuous improvements and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Trust’s IT infrastructure. In addition, I contribute to shaping the Trust’s long-term strategic vision, developing and delivering a three-to-five-year plan to enhance digital capability across all sites.
In recognition of my commitment and support, I was nominated by colleagues and received the ‘Staff Excellence’ award in 2016, presented at a formal event attended by the Lord Mayor of Coventry.
Beki has over 11 years experience of working within the education sector and a background in Software Training and Media. She has minuted a number of meetings and has a wide range of extensive abilities within IT.
She has worked across a number of schools within and around Coventry; both primary and secondary. She brings with her Administration, Office Management and Business Process Lead experience from her time within the schools.
Beki holds a 2:1 Bachelor of Honours degree in Media, Communication and Cultural Studies from Coventry University, alongside numerous IT and Mental Health Awareness qualifications. Beki is currently working towards her Leading Governance Development for Clerks qualification.
She is passionate about creating friendly and effective working relationships across the Trust and beyond.
Jacqui has nearly 15 years of experience in the further education sector working in academic libraries across the UK and Middle East. She has more recently gained experience as a School Governance Professional working with schools across Warwickshire.
She brings with her experience of information gathering, data retention, and support. As a School Governance Professional and a Parent Governor, she has had training in supporting governing boards, safeguarding policies, and transitioning Local Authority governing boards to Multi Academy Trust formats.
Jacqui holds a Master of Science degree in Library and Information Skills alongside other university qualifications and education and support based training.
She is passionate about supporting and developing governing and trust boards, and promoting the dedication and passion of the volunteers who are shaping the future of children and young people in our communities.
