Pauline is a retired teacher and has worked in the City of Coventry for over 30 years. Her involvement on governing bodies has been extensive with her area of expertise being SEND, Safeguarding & Inclusion, together with the health and welfare of young people. She held the position of SENCO, Inclusion Manager and Safeguarding Lead at a local secondary school.
She started her career as a teacher of PE and music and moved to Coventry to teach at a local secondary school in 1980. She strongly believes that all young people should have the best possible start in life and that school can play a big part in this. Pauline continues to be a keen advocate for sport and for all the expressive arts and sees them as an extremely valuable and intrinsic part of the school curriculum.
