Paul Green

Paul worked as a Research and Development Chemist before completing a degree in Natural Science at Canterbury Christ Church University.  He began teaching in 1986, while considering taking up a post with the British Antarctic Survey, studying molluscs.  25 years later he is still teaching.

Following Head of Science, Advisory Teacher and Deputy Headteacher roles in two schools, Paul became Headteacher of Lyng Hall in 2004.  Since becoming Headteacher, he has also supported other schools in Birmingham and Coventry.

Paul is a member of a European Agency Working Group which is exploring best practice across Europe for raising the attainment of vulnerable students and those with SEND.

More locally, Paul is a member of the Local Children Safeguarding Board, the Children Services Improvement Board and is currently Chair of the Secondary Headteachers’ Partnership.
